If you arrive in Dubai. Please go to a tourist office. There can get free maps or they can tell you where to buy the maps. Here you can find a few maps online. You don't have so many options, to go:

Dubai -> Abu Dahbi
Dubai -> Al Ain (160 km)
Dubai -> Al Hatta
or
Dubai -> Musadam

The map offered here is okay, but I have no idea how to buy that in Iran. (I have this map. Please mail me your route, I can tell you the distances)
