Wenn das Teil warm wird, dann lebt die LED weniger lange. Da kommt es stark auf Kühlung an.

Nö. Urban Legend. Die aktuellen LEDs sind mit +85°C Umgebung spezifiziert, Sperrschichttemperatur deutlich drüber.

Na ja,
heller werden LEDs bei hohen Temperaturen jedenfalls nicht.
