My sister and I are currently planning a trip on the US West Coast, from Seattle down to San Francisco, this summer (between July 8th and August 28th). We will use the maps made by Adventure Cycling, and take the road Sierra Cascada till Crescent City, CA, and then take the Pacific Coast Highway to SF, to quickly sum up our trip ! So if anyone of you have done this before, we will be glad to hear of it. Any piece of advice would be useful too ! Thanks a lot, Constance

Together with my wife I cycled the nothern part of the ACA Sierra Cascades Route from Vancouver to Crater Lake back in 2011. In Medford we rented a car and drove back to Seattle along the Pacific coast. Very scenic trip with snowcapped volcanoes and rolling hills. So, I am ready to answer your questions... Greetings LUTZ

I have always wanted to camp down the coast ...
