Hello i´m going to Patagonia this year and I need to know what´s the best stove to cook and how to carry the stove and botle in a airplane?
I read that using Automobile Gasoline is dangerous. So, with a multifuel stove where can I find querosene ou fuel for the stove?

Thanks,

Ricardo

Usually airlines decline any sort of fuel transported in an aircraft. The same counts for used fuel bottles as the vapors are considered dangerous. Hint: clean the container with tea so the odor of the fuel disappears.

I prefer 206 cartridges, which are cheap, easy to handle and don't make your fingers stink. I recently bought a stove including a pipe, windshield and cartridge adaptor.

Underway in Switzerland

Today arrived a new toy . I hope we can test it this year.
But on a bike holiday I would stick to a kerosene stove, as it should be more comfortable to cook with. If you wash the container, it should be ok. I use some shampoo to get rid of the smell.

Have fun in Patagonia
