Hallo Rolf,

leider habe ich immernoch große Probleme mit dem Garmin. Inzwischen geht er ständig nach dem Einschalten und ein, zwei Befehlen aus. Manchmal ist er einfach nur tot, manchmal zeigt er mrkwürdige Streifen auf dem Display. Deinen beschribenen Mastereset habe ich einige Male durchgeführt, bis jetzt leider erfolglos. Hast du diesen aus dem ausgeschalteten oder dem eingeschalteten Zustand probiert? Es ist übrigens die Software Version 2.6 installiert. Danke für eure Hinweise.

Immer im Auszustand starten. Möglichst vorher die Akkus raus und wieder einsetzten.
Wenn das eTrex dann einmal durchstartet, müsste es auch klappen.
